Oakfield College is part of the Trinity Special School in Newcastle, catering for boys with emotional and behavioural difficulties. There is a working farm on the site.

The school has successfully promoted the use of enterprise education as a way of improving attendance and increasing work related skills. As well as a farm, there is a market garden, a tuck shop, a breakfast club and an enterprise making garden furniture.
